News on Doncaster Towns Fund Engagement

Some fantastic comments and suggestions are being made about the project ideas, which will all be read and will be used to guide the further evolution of these ideas to improve Doncaster. Railway forecourt - You need some water features, they are calming as well as beautiful and near to plentiful seating areas so people can sit down relax and chat or have a coffee

Multi-use building and public realm - Post pandemic there will probably be less need for traditional office space. Co-working/ collaborative spaces would seem to be the way forward. Maybe live/ workspaces? The area needs to feel like a vibrant part of the town once more

Doncaster heritage - I feel Doncaster Town centre and local communities have lacked ongoing daytime cultural and educational activities, events and displays. Over the years I have usually travelled to Sheffield to enjoy these enriching experiences
